I’ll be presenting TWO all-inclusive workshops at REAF this year on Saturday, April 22nd! My hope is to bring some queer vibes to this space where everyone, no matter their body, can enjoy themselves and feel safe. I also wanted to propose a workshop so I could start making relationships within REAF, in order to suggest the festival include some incredible educators and/or performers of color. It’s one way to make the field of sexuality better, suggesting to organizers of events like this to be mindful of who they include, and who they don’t.  If you are looking to create inclusion in your sex ed events, be sure to check in with The Women of Color Sexual Health Network. Consider your location, the images you use, the roster of educators and performers and see how you can include marginalized groups safely. The Rochester sexuality scene is limited and I hope to expand opportunities while being mindful of our privilege we bring to the table.

Bottoms Up: Anal Play 3:00-4:00 Explore this nerve-rich part of the body in this workshop. We will discuss how building trust and communicating desires is the foundation to anal sex. Other topics include toys, positions, anatomy, safety, preparation, and hygiene. This is a body positive workshop for all genders and orientations. You’ll leave with resources and a new definition for bottoms up!

Big Love 4:30-5:30

Great sex has nothing to do with the number on the bathroom scale. Regardless of shape, size or flexibility, you can have great sex! This workshop is for people of all genders, sexual orientations, and all sizes. From taking your clothes off to embracing your belly to sex positions and sex toys that are best for people of size, we’ll cover a lot of ground in this workshop. You will leave with resources to assist you in practicing body positive sex for years to come.
